Einstein Is a german born Physicist, his greatest achievement are in the field of modern physics he was a brilliant Mathematician. He discovered the atom and most notably the theory of relativity this overthrew all we thought we knew about the universe Einstein made sense of gravity he explained that the universe is made of a fabric called space time and all solids sit upon this fabric creating the illusion of gravity. He put this theory into a simple equation E = mc2. However this was only a theory Einstein needed proof and the only way to do this was an eclipse. Einstein claimed that if the stars around the moon appeared to move outward during the eclipse in other words bend then this would prove the existence of space time.
