The Uncle Joe's Packaging Range.....

I have decided to revisit an area of interest for me Uncle Joe's Mint balls. It is this type of branding that I wish to apply to my own designs. I decided to buy some and have a closer look at the sort of product they had to offer. More importantly the kind of packaging this came in.

Packaging: This is a variety of simple sweet
bags from the uncle Joe's range, the artwork
really interests me.

This is the more classic sweet bag the way the
bags are packaged could be a line of
enquiry.

Tins and jars are another packaging solution looking

at these I think their could be a possibility for a card 

tin almost like a box of roses.

Even the individual sweets are packaged.

I love how the artwork is put together on this packaging the colours and the vintage style give this packaging a real quality feel.

Right now I am thinking about making a collection of sweet packaging aimed at kids with pocket money. I am playing with the idea of having a sort of character to brand the sweets a sort of T.P Bernard figure.
A similar local character is Uncle Joe's of Wigan, Uncle Joe is at the front of every jar box and individually wrapped suite. As well as the idea of self promotion I love the packaging style its bordering on victorian but more than this its timeless.

Realy like this simple use of word and image, colours are relevent. I want to kind of take a similar aproach to my own wrap it up.....

This is the sort of Character branding that I want to look into almost giving this chocolate/ sweets a grandeur a sense of occasion.

This is the king of colour imagination and life I want my design to have.
