Personal Dream Journal

To gain an understanding of dreams I started to record my own dreams. I collected these dreams in a dream journal.

Firstly writing the dream down all the details from location to colour.
Secondly drawing my dreams I found this helped me to recall finer details such as colour and objects etc.
Thirdly giveing a brief analysis on each dream and comparing the dream to the previous days events.

My findings supported my previous research I found that all my dreams could be linked with something I had seen said or thought about the previous day. This could be something that simply crossed my mind a underlining problem anything. In conclusion I could make sense of all my dreams.

So......
I chose a block of 10 days where I had the most vivid and varied dreams and displayed them. Below....

In conclusion......
I found certain patterns:
1.People
2.Colours
3.Objects
Have shown up on more than a few occasions In my dreams.
i.e
1.My mate Tom from back home.
2.My dreams seem to be painted in Purple.
3.Cars and general transpertation.

Designing dreams?

This is a collection of ideas based around the principle of design. In this blog I am asking myself questions that I will later put to the test.
so...
If we can design images and products that influence the way we think and feel. Then can these principles be applied to the dream world and effect us in the same way?

If... I show someone a picture of a rabbit then will they dream of rabbits?

Then if i show them a picture of a field will they dream of rabbits in a field?

Below, are some of my early thought processes.

So... If I put the two together, could I make the rabbits subliminal?
This is a simple image I created could this work?

Does size matter?
If i changed the size of the rabbit or its positioning on the page will this effect the dream?

So...
If the rabbit was really Big will this mean in the dream there are massive killer rabbits? Or if the rabbits are small then will this mean they are less important in the dream and no longer the central theme?
small.
large !
Here are some original notes on size analysis.

Colour
Does this make a difference in our dreams? So if i were to show the viewer a colour how would this effect their dream?
Would they dream about this colour?
